5 Myths About Hemp

While we explore the possibility of incorporating full-spectrum cannabinoid products into our family’s wellness regimen, one will quickly discover that there’s often contradictory and confusing information out there. There are several common misconceptions regarding hemp.

CBD From Hemp Is Not as beneficial as When it Comes from Other Cannabis (marijuana)

CBD is the same, no matter what type of cannabis/hemp plant it’s derived from.

While it’s true that the percentage of CBD in hemp plants by dry weight is typically lower than in some other specially-bred cannabis (marijuana) plants, once the oil is extracted, those differences often become negligible. Besides, so many medical claims and products from dispensaries are contaminated with toxic pesticides and herbicides. We have to choose wisely from suppliers who provide chemically free cannabis/hemp.

Our body and its endocannabinoid system cannot differentiate where CBD originates.

No matter whether it’s derived from, CBD and the plant’s other cannabinoids and natural constituents like terpenes, flavinoids, work together synergistically in their interaction with the endocannabinoid system to help regulate various vital functions and encourage homeostasis.

CBD Hemp Oil Will Cause You to Get High

CBD hemp oil will not get you high unless you injest extremely large quantities, which is very expensive.

Hemp plants naturally contain trace amounts of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the psychoactive compound found in another cannabis plant that causes a euphoric effect.

For a cannabis plant to be considered hemp, it must contain no more than 0.3% THC per dry weight – that’s about 50 times less than the least potent euphoric-causing cannabis/marijuana strain.

Plus, while CBD is non-psychoactive, it’s also been found to reduce the euphoric effects of THC. And full-spectrum extracts with terpenes have been shown to reduce effects of THC. THC has been bred into marijuana to have more euphoric effects.

CBD Hemp Oil is Only Safe for Adults

CBD hemp oil is safe for people of all ages, especially since we have an endocannabinoid system in our bodies.

While more studies still need to be conducted, the research that has been done so far indicates that CBD hemp oil is safe and well tolerated for children.

Several studies investigating CBD hemp oil on children diagnosed with severe epilepsy disorders have found it to be beneficial while causing zero adverse side effects.

Plus, because CBD hemp oil is completely non-psychoactive, it’s considered safe to use for anyone, regardless of age.

Hemp foods are some of the oldest, safest, and healthiest foods for the human body and mind.

No one has ever died of a cannabis overdose.

CBD Hemp Oil is Illegal Without a Prescription

CBD derived from Hemp is legal and CBD derived from marijuana is federally illegal and depends on state medical cannabis laws. CBD hemp oil is legal under U.S. federal law according to the 2014 Farm Bill.

CBD hemp oil is therefore legal to purchase and use under federal law, regardless of whether you have obtained a prescription. Individual state laws are dynamic and states may pass laws governing hemp-derived CBD. CBD derived from hemp is legal federally and CBD derived from marijuana depends on states medical cannabis laws. Our hemp is sourced legally under the Department of Agriculture.

All Hemp Oil/ CBD Products are the Same

Not all hemp oil products contain CBD or have high standards of organics which screens for herbicides, pesticides, and fungicides.

You’ve likely seen hemp seeds or organic hemp oil at your local health or grocery store. Hemp seed oil is derived from only hemp seeds. While it is a nutritious supplement that contains many essential vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids, it does not contain CBD.

For those seeking the benefits of cannabidiol, be sure to obtain hemp oil that is a true full-spectrum product that has as many of the plants original constituents as possible.

For instance we produce a Spagyric extract which contains the plants minerals and chlorophyll. These trace minerals and elements are important for our mind and body, helping to keep us sharp and vibrant.

Do all your products contain the Spagyric extract, containing plant minerals and chlorophyll. I order soft gels, 350 mg. and liquid, 250 mg. and 500 mg. If not, which products contain the entire plant, including all terpenes, flavinoids, and any other brain enhancing components? It is important to me to get every benefit from your products.
Thank you.
